Process
- Prepare Documentation: Complete all application forms and gather supporting documents. Ensure payment of the application fee.
- Submission: Submit the application in person in the applicant’s country of origin, permanent residence, or long-term temporary residence.
- Approval and Payment: Upon approval, pay ZAR 120,000 to the Director General.
- Permanent Residence: Successful applicants receive immediate permanent residence status in South Africa.
Requirements
- Net Worth: Proof of a minimum net worth of ZAR 12,000,000.
- Character Criteria: Must not be a prohibited or undesirable person and should not have been refused entry into South Africa.
- Legal Status: Should not have entered or stayed illegally in South Africa.
- Financial Stability: Must have sufficient economic means to cover personal and family living expenses.
- Application Fee: Pay an application fee of ZAR 120,000 directly to the Director General upon approval of the application.
- Entry Requirement: Must enter South Africa at least once every 3 years.
