Requirements
- Age: Principal applicants must be at least 18 years.
- Clean Record: Applicant must have no criminal record
- Health: Applicants must be in good health.
- Financial: Applicant must provide proof legitimate source of funds.
- Legal Compliance: Applicants must comply with all Egyptian laws and regulations during the process.
Investment
- Donation: A non-refundable contribution of USD 250,000 to the state treasury.
- Real Estate: Purchase government-approved or registered property (residential, commercial, or land). Minimum investment: USD 300,000, to be held for 5 years.
- Business Investment: Invest at least USD 350,000 in a new or existing business in Egypt, plus make a USD 100,000 non-refundable donation to the government.
- Bank Deposit: Deposit USD 500,000 in a local bank, refundable after 3 years in local currency with no interest.
Note: A government application fee of USD 10,000 applies to all options. Investment options can be paid in installments, provided the full amount is settled within one year after the applicant receives approval.
Process
- Due Diligence: Conduct background checks to confirm eligibility
- Application Submission: The completed application is submitted to the Investment Unit.
- Temporary Residency: Applicant may receive a temporary residency permit while completing investment installments.
- Approval: Upon approval, the applicant will receive Egyptian citizenship, a citizenship certificate, and passports.
